Must-Have:
- Titration of vesicant medications
- Familiarity with pressors
- Sedation and paralytics experience
- Experience with ventilators and tracheostomies
- Telemetry interpretation skills
- Understanding of hemodynamics and pulmonary artery catheter setup and interpretation


Description:
Seeking rapid response ECMO, LVAD, and cath lab recovery capable nurses.
Candidates should have experience in CVICU, heart step-down, and cath lab recovery.
Scheduling will not accommodate requests for special scheduling.
A minimum of 48 hours of guaranteed weekly work is provided.
Unit specifics include 16 patient beds with ratios of 2:1 or 1:1, occasionally 3:1 based on acuity.
Registered Nurses will work without unit secretaries or patient care techs.
Type of equipment used includes ventilators, telemetry systems, IV pumps, and others.
Documentation will be completed using the Cerner system.
Must have advanced skills such as IABP, Impella, and CRRT experience.
Common procedures performed include cardioversion, central line insertion, and chest tube insertions.
Dress code requires scrubs in navy or a combination of navy and white.
No pullovers or hoodies permitted.
Uniform policy includes strict adherence to designated scrub colors.
Unit policies and guidelines must be followed.
