Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical / Telemetry setting during night shift hours
• Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms as part of ongoing patient assessment
• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
• Complete required orientation assessments, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations, with an acceptable passing score
• Participate in annual hands-on competency requirements and facility-assigned training modules as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Ohio RN license or valid Compact RN license — must be in hand at time of submission; no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 1 year of combined permanent experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry
• All required certifications must be active and in hand at time of submission — no pending certifications accepted
• One professional reference required from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director within the applicable specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months — co-worker references will not be accepted
• Must have no open background check cases; facility does not accept any license hits
• Local candidates are welcome and will be considered

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience gained within a single facility or location in the Medical Surgical / Telemetry specialty
• Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity navigating health system compliance requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
