What we do TKD’s Construction Group represents corporate and institutional owners and developers in transactional and dispute‑related construction matters, handling every aspect from agreements to financing to litigation. We work on complex projects in New York and worldwide, liaising with multiple contractors, architects, engineers, and stakeholders to keep projects moving. Our client roster includes leading developers and investors across residential, commercial, and specialty sectors. What the role entails We are seeking an experienced Construction Associate for the Construction Group. The ideal candidate has 3‑12 years (5+ preferred) of hands‑on experience in construction law, real estate law, or commercial litigation with expertise in mechanics liens and lien foreclosures, RPAPL 881 proceedings, construction and design defects, and construction delays. Experience drafting and negotiating construction agreements and license/access agreements is highly valued. Required skills The candidate must demonstrate excellence in writing, legal analysis, and negotiation. A solid academic background and strong interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires flexibility to juggle multiple cases, work under tight deadlines, and operate in a fast‑paced environment. Admission to the New York bar is required. All hires must verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States. Benefits & Compensation The annual salary range for this position is $130,000–$215,000, depending on experience, bar admission, location, and overall qualifications.
