Job Overview A law firm seeks a Construction Litigation Associate Attorney in New York, NY. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team handling complex construction disputes, NYS Labor Law defense, and construction defect/property damage claims. Responsibilities Handle depositions, court appearances, and motion practice in state and federal courts. Advise clients on litigation strategy, risk management, and insurance coverage issues. Draft pleadings, discovery requests, and other litigation documents with precision. Collaborate with partners and colleagues to develop case strategies. Respond to catastrophic events and develop litigation defenses. Requirements Admission to the New York Bar required; New Jersey Bar admission is a plus. 2+ years of litigation experience, with emphasis on construction/NYS Labor Law defense. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated professional judgment and problem‑solving ability. Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and clients.
