Senior Accountant, Corporate Finance

Arcade Beauty is looking for a Senior Accountant in our global corporate finance group in our Saddle Brook, NJ corporate headquarters.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for supporting Corporate financial reporting and global consolidations environment. This role works closely with the company's regional Accounting and Finance teams.

Key accountabilities include:

• Assist in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities including the preparation of the management report and accompanying schedules.
• Prepare and review of Group and other legal entity financial statements to ensure transactions and consolidations are properly reflected and in accordance with U.S. GAAP;
• For overseas entities, review and understand the differences between statutory financials and financials reported to corporate, coordinate with corporate tax to ensure these differences are properly accounted for in the tax provision/filings.
• Prepare and record consolidation journal entries and reconciliations for month-end closing;
• Analyze and document significant account fluctuations for senior leadership.
• Review balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting from subsidiaries;
• Ensure financial controls at subsidiaries are in accordance with company's policies and procedures;
• Support requests from external consultants such as Auditors, Tax consultants, and other advisors.
• Research and document technical accounting matters under U.S. GAAP (e.g., revenue recognition, leases, business combinations, impairment), preparing supporting memos for the Corporate Controller and external auditors.
• Assisting in the design, modification, implementation, and/or maintenance of accounting systems to ensure adequate recognition of financial transactions.
• Identify control weaknesses and participate in recommending remedial changes to tighten and enhance controls to the Corporate Controller.
• Conduct accounting research and analyses on an ad hoc basis.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

• Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
• Strong analytical and accounting skills
• Advanced excel skills required
• Knowledge of ONESTREAM or other consolidation tools a plus
• Working experience in general ledger and financial statements, a plus. xhyhwjd
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet tight deadlines
• Must be able to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks with high level of difficulty

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent from an accredited university required
• Consolidation & reporting experience required
• Big four or leading public accounting background preferred
• 3-4 years of total work experience
• CPA preferred
