Talent Development Manager

A leading Am Law firm is seeking a Manager, Legal Talent Development with 5+ years of experience in a law firm or professional services environment. This role will partner closely with practice group leaders and attorneys to develop and enhance attorney training, career development, mentoring, and professional development programs.Are you the right candidate for this opportunity Make sure to read the full description below.ResponsibilitiesPartner with practice group leaders to identify attorney development needs and implement targeted programsDesign and manage curricula focused on substantive legal and professional skillsDevelop experiential and technology-enabled learning initiativesIncorporate emerging trends, including AI, into attorney development programsSupport mentoring, sponsorship, coaching, and career development initiativesAdvise attorneys on career development, performance, and advancementAnalyze feedback and program data to improve development initiativesCollaborate on firm wide talent development priorities and strategic initiativesSupervise and mentor junior team membersQualifications5+ years of relevant experience in a law firm or professional services environmentExperience in attorney development, legal talent management, career advising, learning and development, or a related areaBachelor's degree required; J.D. or advanced degree preferredExperience designing and managing training or professional development programsAbility to xhyhwjd work effectively with attorneys, practice group leaders, and senior stakeholdersUnderstanding of adult learning principles and evolving legal industry trends, including technology and AIStrong project management and communication skillsAbility to handle confidential information and exercise sound judgmentThis is an opportunity to play a key role in expanding and centralizing attorney development programs while working directly with firm leadership and practice groups.
