Tech Assistant, Phlebotomy, Full Time, Evening

Specimen Processing Coordinator

To receive inhouse specimens and distribute to laboratory departments in a timely manner. To provide customer service through initiation and/or response to client inquiries via phone or fax regarding test status, results or specimen requirements and to triage early morning phlebotomy draws. To accession and process specimens from outreach clients if needed.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Related laboratory or customer service experience preferred.

Skills: Ability to set priorities, multi-task and detail oriented. Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, staff, physician offices, etc.
