Event Contractor - Sports

Must be local to the New Orleans, LA or Mandeville, LA area. Must be available to work full shifts during one or both tournament weekends below. Must have a reliable vehicle. Additional weekend event opportunities available throughout the year. $16/hour. Friday, July 17 – Sunday, July 19, 2026 Thursday, July 23 – Sunday, July 26, 2026 WHO (Event Contractors) FLEXIBILITY – Events primarily take place on weekends and may include Thursday setup days. As an independent contractor, you choose which events fit your availability. EXCITEMENT – Work at premier youth sporting events throughout the Greater New Orleans and Northshore area while helping deliver a professional live streaming experience. NEW TECHNOLOGY – Gain hands‑on experience using industry‑leading live streaming equipment and production technology. SUPPORT – Receive training, documentation, and ongoing support from the BallerTV Operations Team to help you succeed at every event. What Services We Need TRACK – Receive, transport, and care for event equipment, including cameras, networking equipment, and marketing assets. EXECUTION – Set up and break down BallerTV’s live streaming systems at each court or field while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient workspace. MONITOR – Monitor live streams throughout the day, troubleshoot equipment when needed, and communicate with the Operations Team to ensure every game is successfully broadcast. ENJOY – Get paid while watching live sports and helping showcase thousands of athletes to family members, college recruiters, and fans around the world. FLEXIBILITY – This is a part‑time weekend contractor position. Shifts may begin as early as 6:00 AM and end as late as 11:00 PM. Contractors should be comfortable traveling up to 40 miles one way to event venues. PAY – $16/hour. Daily shifts may exceed 12 hours. Tournament weekends often total 30+ hours of work and require standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and moving equipment throughout the day. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Must successfully complete a pre‑event background check. Must be comfortable using iPhones and iOS devices. Must be dependable, professional, and customer‑focused. Must possess strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Must be able to multitask in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Preferred Experience in live event production, broadcasting, sports, photography, videography, or customer service is a plus. Interest or experience in basketball, volleyball, wrestling, soccer, football, lacrosse, or other youth sports is preferred.
