The Part-Time Beautician work approximately 15 hours/week and provides services to residents in the Kindred Place Salon at times that are convenient for our residents. Duties include:

• Provide haircuts, shampoos, and styling; hair coloring; perms; beard trimming; and other cosmetology services.
• Scheduling appointments and communicating with residents;
• Submitting charge slips for services provided;
• Placing equipment/supply orders, as needed;
• Maintaining a clean, safe environment;
• Sanitizing equipment; and,
• Building meaningful relationships and providing social interactions.

Requirements:

• Current PA Cosmetology License
• Ability to deal tactfully with residents, families, visitors, and co-workers; and,
• The willingness to work harmoniously with others.
