• 24-Hour In-House Shifts
• Daytime NICU Coverage: 8:30 AM-4:30 PM
• Overnight In-House Call: 4:30 PM-8:30 AM
• Minimum of 7 Days of Availability Per Month
• Approximately 12 Shifts Per Month Needed

• Patient Population: 100% Pediatric / Neonatal
• Level III NICU Care
• Approximately 1-3 Admissions While On Call
• Full Range of Level III NICU Patients
• Prematurity and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
• Gestational Age 22+ Weeks
• Pediatric General Surgery Cases

• Provide 24-Hour In-House Neonatology Coverage
• Perform Daily NICU Rounds
• Provide Ongoing Care and Management of NICU Patients
• Provide Delivery Room Coverage
• Provide Prenatal Consultations as Needed
• Support Neonatal Transport Services
• Manage Premature and Extremely Low Birth Weight Infants
• Provide High-Frequency Ventilation Including HFOV and HFJV
• Provide Therapeutic Hypothermia
• Provide Routine and Advanced NICU Care

• Endotracheal Intubation
• Umbilical Line Placement
• Chest Tube Placement
• Neonatal Resuscitation
• Routine NICU Procedures
• High-Frequency Oscillatory Ventilation (HFOV)
• High-Frequency Jet Ventilation (HFJV)
• Therapeutic Hypothermia

• Daytime Coverage Includes Neonatologists and Neonatal APPs
• Harrisburg Overnight Coverage Is Shared Between 2 NICU Providers
• Harrisburg Overnight Team May Include 1 Neonatologist and 1 APP or 2 Neonatologists
• 24-Hour APP Coverage Available at Harrisburg
• Lititz Overnight Coverage Is Solo
• Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Locations

• Board Certified - Required
• Minimum of 1 Year of Neonatology Experience - Required
• At Least 2 Years of Clinical Experience in Neonatology - Required
• Active Pennsylvania Medical License - Required at Application
• IMLC Accepted
• NRP - Required
• DEA - Required
• Provider Must Be Willing to Cover Both Harrisburg and Lititz Locations
• Minimum Availability of 7 Days Per Month - Required
