MUST HAVE PRIOR EXPERIENCE
1. Escort patients to exam rooms, interviews patients, records vitals, including height and weight and documents all information in patients' chart.
2. Performs medication reconciliation with patient, when needed.
3. Obtain information from patient related to reason for visit and document appropriately in the patient’s medical record.
4. Assist physician/physician assistant during exam and/or with procedures, as needed.
5. Give prescriptions, education forms and notes to patients as instructed by physician or physician assistant.
6. Ensure all related results, labs, MRI, etc. are scanned in in patients chart prior to their appointment.
7. Keep exam rooms clean and stocked with adequate medical supplies, checking expiration dates and maintaining instruments.
8. Assists with DME fitting and providing coverage.
9. Participates in MIPS/MACRA and other quality assurance programs.
10. Travel to satellite offices, as required.
11. All other duties as assigned.
