IT Support Specialist Full-time Regular Technical North Charleston, SC, US 2 days ago Requisition ID: 1719 Raycap, Inc. is seeking an experienced IT Professional to provide end-user support for all U.S. facilities. Based in Charleston, SC, this role requires strong technical expertise, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering timely and effective support to internal customers. Primary Job Responsibilities Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk Prioritize daily deliverables against help desk requests Document internal procedures Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses Manage PC setup and development for new employees using standard hardware and software Perform timely workstation hardware/software upgrades and maintenance as required Acts as software support and technical assistance Responds to user requests for service and determines nature and extent of support needed Installs, configures, maintains, and troubleshoots a wide range of software used Investigates problems and finds solutions Actively participates in planning and implementing IT improvement projects Job Qualifications Associates or Bachelor's Degree, or 2 years minimum work experience. Thorough knowledge of computer hardware and software Ability to communicate effectively and work well with a wide variety of team members. Experience training users on software and hardware functions Focused, motivated and driven individual who meets deadlines and follows through Extensive experience with Sharepoint and Microsoft Office 365 Why Choose Us?
