Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department required License: Active nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH required, CPI, PALS, TNCC preferred Must-Have: Previous charge nurse experience preferred EPIC experience required Description: This position requires a registered nurse to work in the emergency room. The nurse will provide care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must be flexible with scheduling and aware of attendance policies. Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills are essential. The nurse will be expected to manage various patient conditions, including trauma cases. Required skills include intravenous therapy, arterial line management, and respiratory care. Candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam prior to working. This role involves a commitment to maintaining patient safety and delivering high-quality care. The nurse will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management. Weekend and holiday shifts will be required as needed. Candidates must be prepared for potential floating to other units.
