Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, includes weekend rotation

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) and transfers
- Provide family and patient education on functional training and home exercises
- Implement gait training, therapeutic exercises, and balance interventions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient progress accurately in Meditech (Expanse) system
Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist in Florida or compact privilege eligible
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of experience, including skilled nursing facility (SNF) experience
- Previous travel experience preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced inpatient rehab setting
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical reasoning and patient assessment skills
- Proficiency in therapeutic exercise, gait training, and functional mobility
- Excellent communication and teaching abilities for patient and family education
- Comfortable with electronic medical records, especially Meditech (Expanse)
- Flexibility to work weekends as part of rotating schedule
