Alligator Steps Swim School is seeking passionate and dedicated Swim Instructors to join our team at our year-round indoor facility. Alligator Steps is a premier, family-owned swim school dedicated to teaching water safety and swimming skills in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Our indoor facility allows us to teach year-round, offering consistent work and a stable schedule for our team members. We believe in providing the highest quality instruction while making every lesson a positive and rewarding experience for our students and staff. Swim Instructor Duties: Teach swimming lessons to individuals and small groups of various ages and skill levels. Ensure the safety of all students in and around the pool at all times. Create a positive, fun, and encouraging learning environment. Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and parents on progress. Maintain accurate attendance and progress records. Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff. Attend all required staff meetings and training sessions. Qualifications: Previous experience in swimming, lifeguard, or in a related aquatic field is preferred, but not required. We offer paid, in-depth training! A passion for working with children and a patient, enthusiastic attitude. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Must be able to pass a background check and in-water swim test.
