HIRING IMMEDIATELY: MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN IN SPARTANBURG, SC

This individual will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting production machinery in a manufacturing environment. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Hourly Pay: $28.95 – $36.92/hour (Structured step-up pay scale based on tenure and certification)
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• 2nd Shift: 2:30pm to 11:00pm 
• Located in Spartanburg, SC

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot production line machinery and equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, including hydraulics, pumps, bearings, gears, chain drives, and power transmission
• Perform equipment alignments and precision measurements using tools such as micrometers, calipers, and dial indicators
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints and parts specifications
• Safely operate forklifts and aerial lifts, including at elevated heights
• Perform preventive maintenance and support equipment reliability
• Complete required testing, documentation, and data entry
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe manufacturing environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on equipment experience
• High school diploma/GED required; technical degree, vocational certification, or Journeyman card preferred
• Ability to read mechanical blueprints and parts specifications
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Must pass Ramsay Reading, Math, and Mechanical Aptitude assessments and demonstrate hands-on technical skills
• Ability to operate forklifts and aerial lifts
• Flexible to work any shift, evenings, weekends, and overtime as needed
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work safely around moving machinery, varying temperatures, and moderate noise
