Surgical Coordinator Haymarket Va
Pay From $22 Per Hour
MUST: The Surgical Coordinator needs to have the following:
- 3+ year of recent experience as a Surgical Coordinator in a surgical setting
- 10+ years of experience in a surgical or high volume medical specialty practice
- Calling sites for medical records for patients having upcoming procedures
- Reviewing medical records to ensure they are properly updated with required labs, tests and imaging results
- Coordinating and tracking preoperative medical clearances
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Review medical records for upcoming procedures
- Ensure all required labs, tests and imaging results are uploaded to patient's medical records
- Coordinate and track pre-operative medical clearances
- Call practice sites for laboratory tests, EKG's and imaging results
- Answer phones
- Take detailed messages for pre assessment nurses prior to procedures
