Position Summary Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. In a leading retail setting, you will work independently and as part of a team to positively impact the lives of others. The role includes cashier duties, inventory management, and providing support across departments such as photo, beauty, and pharmacy. Essential Functions Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion, and actively resolving service issues. Focus on the customer with a warm greeting, eye contact, and help locating additional items. Accurately perform cashier duties – handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies. Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory management tasks as directed by the store manager. Support opening and closing store activities when needed. Assist all departments, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational. Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities for growth arise. Advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that support our purpose of helping people on their path to better health. Physical Requirements Remaining upright on feet for sustained periods. Lifting and exerting up to 35 lbs occasionally, up to 10 lbs frequently. Visual acuity needed for computer use, reading, and small-detail visual inspections. Required Qualifications At least 16 years of age. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred but Not Required.
