Roles and responsibilities include the management of NGMS to ensure they are meeting their Technical, Schedule, and contractual requirements and cost management. Individual will need to work closely with Technical, Program, Contracts, and Finance leads and will be part of a larger subcontracts management team including another SPM, SCM, and SCA.Manages subordinate teams overseeing subcontractors or critical subcontracted systems for all contract types and programs, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements and company policies. Directs and manages all costs, quality, schedule, financial, and technical performance requirements that are levied on the subcontractor or the product family and is required to ensure performance and support of the contract milestones of the system. Develops sourcing and subcontract program management strategic plans that address overall program capture needs, execution, and risk management. Acts as the main focal point to the subcontractor and program management office. Responsible for and directs all phases of the subcontract from initiation of the business case for make or buy decisions through requests for proposals, transition to program startup, subcontract management plans, negotiation strategy, cost accountability, program execution, and contract closeout. Makes informed decisions affecting the performance of the subcontractor. Establishes milestone objectives to manage performance to committed schedules and contractual specifications. Leads a cross-functional team, normally composed of engineers, quality, and procurement personnel, to ensure successful subcontract execution and program delivery.Basic QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Ability to lead activities to execute Supply Chain subcontracts and sourcing activities in an executing capacity as a Purchasing agent/Buyer/Subcontract Administrator/Manager.Working knowledge of standard contract types.Experience leading subcontract management teamExperience managing supplier relationships and cross functional teams.Microsoft Office Suite proficiencyKnowledge of acquisition policies and procedures associated with FAR / DFAR requirements.Strong work ethic, good communication, and negotiation skills.Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated communication, negotiation, presentation and documentation skills.Experience solving complex problemsExperience working independently and in a team environmentExcellent communication (verbal, written and presentation) skillsAbility to travel to support ensure supplier performanceMust be a United States citizen and be able to obtain a Secret government security clearanceDesired SkillsDesired Skills:Active Secret securtiy clearanceProject Management experiencePrior experience with Lockheed Martin Acquisition Procedures (LMAP), Commercial Acquisition Procedures (CAP), local Site Work Instructions, and Command MediaExperienced in CAM dutiesPrior experience and knowledge of SAPExcellent business acumen and ability to make business-based decisionsExperience with the procurement of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment within Defense or Aerospace industries.Ability to organize tasks and prioritize assignmentsEffective time management skillsProblem solving / critical thinking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressureAbility to work with all levels of managementAbility to be flexible and embrace changeSelf-motivated and takes initiativeDemonstrated ability to build relationships with program and technical communityPay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $118000.00 - $219100.00At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
