Assistant Project Manager

Location: The Woodlands, Texas (On-site) Employment Type: Full-Time TRS Roofing Systems is a leading provider of commercial roofing systems across Texas and beyond, delivering high-quality, energy‑efficient systems to warehouses, offices, and industrial facilities since 2009. We’re looking for a detail‑oriented and driven Assistant Project Manager to support the execution of commercial roofing projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced environment, coordinating moving parts, and supporting successful project delivery. The Assistant Project Manager reports directly to a Project Manager and serves as an integral part of our team. Responsibilities Support the Project Manager across all phases of roofing projects Coordinate scheduling of labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors Review drawings, specifications, and contracts for accuracy and compliance Communicate with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation Maintain organized project records and tracking in project management systems Attend meetings, document action items, and ensure follow‑up Coordinate material procurement and delivery timelines Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, or a similar role within the construction industry Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Experience working with multiple stakeholders (vendors, clients, internal teams) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or similar #J-18808-Ljbffr TRS Roofing Systems - Houston, LLC.
