Director of Finance/Comptroller

Job Description A private company in the Washington DC area is seeking a Director of Finance/Comptroller to join our team. Serious applicants will be a Certified Public Accountant with proven track record in financial accounting for social services, non profits, insurance, medical practices and healthcare, The responsibilities of the job include but are not limited to : Demonstrates a keen understanding of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and is able to apply them consistently to the position.. Manages and oversees the work of the accounting staff. Manages the general ledger posting entries accurately to the appropriate account/cost center. Performs bank reconciliation monthly. Prepares financial statements monthly and upon request. Prepares financial cost reports for Medicare and Medicaid. Prepares reports for tax reporting. Prepare reports for financial audits. Follows established finance and accounting policies and procedures. Pays vendors. timely and accurately. #J-18808-Ljbffr 6AM City, LLC
