Senior Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing accounting and finance team in the King of Prussia area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking to take ownership of key accounting functions while gaining exposure across financial reporting, month-end close, analysis, and process improvement. The ideal candidate will have a strong general accounting foundation, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Support and execute monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account adjustments Perform balance sheet and general ledger account reconciliations Maintain accurate and complete general ledger activity Prepare and assist with monthly financial statements and management reporting Analyze financial results and investigate account variances and discrepancies Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed Assist with fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals, and other accounting schedules Provide documentation and schedules for internal and external audits Ensure accounting activities comply with GAAP and company policies Partner with AP, AR, Finance, Operations, and other departments to resolve accounting issues Identify opportunities to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting accuracy Assist with special projects and ad hoc financial reporting as needed Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred 4+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and general accounting principles Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis Experience with an ERP or accounting system Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
