Cardiac Cath Lab Tech I - Cardiac Cath Lab - 36hrs - Rotating Shift - Henry Ford Hospital Detroit

Responsibilities Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures by performing scrub or monitor functions. Operate and maintain equipment and supplies in the CCL. Ensure patient safety in the CCL by recognizing cardiac arrhythmias and responding according to emergency protocols, and by operating external cardiac pacemakers and defibrillators. Compensation and Schedule $5,000 Sign‑On Bonus Schedule: 36 hrs, rotating shift. Education / Experience High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Graduate of an accredited program in Allied Health Sciences (e.g., Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Exercise Science, or Cardiac or Vascular Sonography). Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience, preferably in a Cath Lab or Radiology, and/or registry‑eligible. Certifications / Licensure Valid BCLS certification required. ACLS certification required within six (6) months of hire. Licensure or certification in the degree field preferred. Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships and convey information clearly. Analytical ability required to determine the best method of providing requested tests based on the specifics of each case.
