Your Role Will Include

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic tests, and developing customized treatment plans
• Diagnosing and addressing acute, chronic, or episodic conditions collaboratively with physicians or independently (depending on credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, preventive care, and disease management
• Prescribing medication and therapies in accordance with your scope of practice

Education Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of New Jersey
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire them within 90 days)
