Accounts Payable Lead

NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a growing healthcare services organization to identify an Accounts Payable Team Lead in Plano, TX. This is an onsite opportunity supporting a high-volume, multi-location AP function and serving as a key resource for the broader Accounts Payable team. This position is ideal for an experienced AP professional who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident training others while serving as the first point of contact for day-to-day questions and vendor-related issues. Required: 3+ years of Accounts Payable experience in a multi-location environment Strong training, onboarding, and knowledge-sharing experience within an AP team Excellent vendor communication skills with the ability to handle escalations professionally Close attention to detail, strong organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Hands-on experience with invoice coding, vendor reconciliations, payment processing, and AP issue resolution Preferred: Experience serving as a lead resource or escalation point for AP specialists without direct people-management responsibility Experience supporting month-end close and monitoring reconciliation deadlines Familiarity with automated accounting and invoice-processing systems Experience training internal business partners or location-level employees on AP processes Accounting-related education or equivalent professional experience NextStep Recruiting provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants regardless of race, color, or applicable state and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment in every location where the company has facilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
