South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. Opportunity Details: Provide comprehensive, compassionate, high-quality surgical care as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Provide inpatient and outpatient surgical care, includingevaluating and managingsurgical patientsin the operating room andclinical settings. Conduct perioperative assessments, participate in emergency department consultations, and coordinate discharge planning. Provide on-call coverage every third week and/or as needed. Qualifications Board Eligible or Board Certified in Podiatry (ABFAS or ABPM). Active NY Podiatry License (or eligibility to obtain). BLS certification. Surgical experience required in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery. Wages and Benefits include: Annual Base Salary: $207,300* based on 40-hour work week. The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $268,030**, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below: Projectedbonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets. 401(k)Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employeesare immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. Afterone year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. AnnualContinuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement. GenerousAnnual Paid Time Off (PTO): Vacation, Sick, Holiday, and CME days.
