Schedule and Compensation: Monday to Friday 7am-3:30pm $12,500 Sign-on Bonus Overview Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities since 1937. The Operating Room includes 7 general rooms, one cysto room, and one minor procedure room. The OR is staffed from 0700 to 1700 Monday-Friday with all other hours and days covered by a Call Crew. Role Purpose Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse. Responsibilities Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies. Performs surgical scrub duties, and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens. Assists in turning over of room, and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
