We're looking for someone who takes pride in quality work and wants to grow their bindery and finishing skills with a strong team at a growing company.About the RoleYou'll assist with the operation and maintenance of our binding and finishing equipment—perfect binders, saddle stitchers, folders, cutters, laminators, and more. This is hands-on work where you'll help ensure every job is completed accurately, on time, and to specification. We work hard and move fast, and we're a collaborative team that takes pride in quality and serving our customers.What You'll DoAssist with operation of perfect binders, saddle stitchers, coil/comb binders, folders, and guillotinesPerform die cutting, laminating, and other finishing workOperate paper drills, scorers, and perforators as neededVerify all jobs meet client specifications and quality standardsPerform routine equipment maintenance and report issues to the production managerKeep detailed production recordsAssist with quality control checksMaintain a clean and organized work environmentCollaborate with the team to meet deadlines and adhere to all safety protocolsWhat You Bring1-2 years of bindery/finishing production experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalentProficient in operating binding and finishing equipmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow instructionsGood manual dexterity and physical staminaAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of binding materials and processes preferredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
