Assistant Bakery Manager

About the Role As an Assistant Bakery Manager, you’ll partner with the Bakery Manager to lead a high‑performing Bakery Department, supporting daily operations, driving production goals, and ensuring a clean, organized, and customer‑focused environment. Responsibilities Support daily operations of the bakery department. Drive production goals and product quality. Oversee merchandising and inventory. Ensure compliance with food safety and company standards. Participate in hands‑on production and stocking. Guide and support a team to meet sales, service, and operational expectations. Set the tone for the department by providing excellent customer service and fostering a positive team environment. Qualifications Experience in retail, food service, or bakery environments (leadership or supervisory experience preferred). A hands‑on approach to production, merchandising, and daily operations. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality, freshness, and food safety. Ability to lead, coach, and support a team in a fast‑paced environment. Flexible availability, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. A passion for customer service and creating a positive shopping experience.
