Critical Care/ICU/PICU/NICU Physician Assistant

Locums Critical Care Physician Assistant near New Orleans, Louisiana - No Call, Night Shifts

Provide overnight CTICU coverage for a high-acuity heart and lung transplant population while working alongside onsite physician and resident support.

Practice & Cases

Inpatient cardiac critical care environment
Heart and lung transplant, ECMO, and ventilator management patients
Perform intubations, line placement, and bedside ICU procedures
Adult-only patient population with high-acuity critical care needs

Schedule

12-hour overnight shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am
PRN coverage model with recurring shift blocks
Option to pick up select weeks each month
No call responsibilities

Requirements

Must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Active Louisiana license required
ACLS, BLS, and DEA required
Critical Care experience required

Logistics

Airfare, lodging, rental car, and mileage are covered
Travel accommodations arranged for scheduled coverage blocks
