Job Details Position: CVOR Registered Nurse (Travel RN) Type: Travel Nursing Job Location: Toledo, OH 43608 Start Date: 08/31/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 - $2,500 Shift: Days Shift Duration: 10 hours Shifts Per Week: 4 to 5 shifts per week; 40 hours preferred Call Requirements: 10-12 call segments per month Setting: Cardiovascular Operating Room Job Requirements Active RN license in the state of practice or compact state eligibility ACLS and BLS required 2 years of vascular, open heart, and/or endovascular surgical experience required Prior travel nursing experience preferred CNOR certification preferred Completion of an OR internship or perioperative training preferred Ability to successfully complete a dysrhythmia exam Strong knowledge of sterile technique, operating room workflow, and cardiovascular surgical procedures Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced surgical environment Responsibilities Provide pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative nursing care for cardiovascular surgery patients Conduct patient assessments and monitor condition before, during, and after procedures Assist the surgical team in maintaining a safe, sterile, and efficient operating room environment Anticipate surgical team needs, prepare supplies, and support instrumentation and equipment use Document patient care accurately and consistently throughout the surgical experience Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and perioperative staff to support optimal patient outcomes Assist with patient positioning, gowning and draping, and transport as needed Follow aseptic technique and infection prevention practices at all times Respond calmly and effectively to changing clinical needs in a high-acuity surgical setting Apply now to explore this CVOR RN travel nursing opportunity in Toledo, Ohio and join a skilled cardiovascular surgery team today.
