About the Opportunity

A fast growing interior design and furnishings company in Atlanta is seeking a highly organized and motivated Design / Project Assistant to support daily operations, vendor coordination, and project execution. This role is ideal for someone passionate about interior design who also understands the operational side of the industry.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with long term growth potential for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

• Support interior design and furnishing projects from start to finish
• Process purchase orders, manage project documentation, and maintain organized records
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and showrooms
• Handle administrative and computer-based tasks related to project management
• Run errands throughout the Atlanta area including showroom sample pickups and client deliveries
• Assist with scheduling, follow ups, and project coordination
• Help solve day-to-day project issues with a proactive mindset
• Support smooth communication between clients, vendors, and internal teams

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in interior design, commercial design, furniture, tile, or related industries
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Comfortable working heavily on computers and managing documentation
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Quick learner with a positive and professional attitude
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• High School Diploma required
• College education preferred
