Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN Utilization Review case manager for a remote position requiring provider-side experience and CCM/CMCN certification.

Details

• Fully remote Utilization Management position
• Monday through Friday schedule, 8A to 4:30P, with every fifth weekend rotation
• Uses Epic EMR, Dragonfly UM tool, and MCG criteria
• Floating required, with travelers prioritized to float, including to sister campuses within 15-20 minutes of each other

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• Current CCM or CMCN certification required
• Minimum 2 years of utilization review experience required, including experience working with providers (not just payers)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Dragonfly UM tool experience required
• MCG experience required
• Degree accreditation verification required unless candidate has 5+ years of experience
• Must be computer literate with remote work experience; candidate must supply their own computer
• Driver's license address must match address on file with the Board of Nursing
• Required documents for consideration: SSN, driver's license, COVID and flu vaccination records

Additional Information

• Perform utilization management duties within a provider-focused care setting
• Prior travel nurse experience highly preferred
• First-time travelers may not be well-suited for this role given the preference for prior travel experience
• Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility; this rule is strictly enforced and includes property ownership checks
• All RTO must be submitted prior to start and will not be approved after offer
• No block scheduling requests accommodated
• Candidates are expected to secure full-time housing in the area rather than commute from a distance
• Orientation begins on a Friday and includes a remote component, though candidates must be in the area on Friday for badge and ID processing
• Hard document deadline is the Monday prior to start, with no exceptions for pending documentation
• Travelers are expected to integrate into the unit and function as core staff
