Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Maintenance Technician

Shift: 9:30 PM-8:00 AM Hourly Rate: $33.53 an hour + $1.00 shift differential

Reporting to the Maintenance Team Leader, you will support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing and packaging equipment at the Hagerstown facility while working a four-day, ten-hour schedule on either a Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday.

A Taste Of Your Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment, utilities, and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production and packaging equipment, including extruders, forming and frying systems, primary and secondary packaging lines, pouching machines, conveyors, and increasingly automated systems such as robotics.
• Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems supporting manufacturing and packaging operations.
• Support equipment changeovers, installations, and upgrades as needed.
• Follow maintenance schedules, work orders, and documented procedures to ensure equipment reliability.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work performed and parts used.
• Comply with safety policies, food safety requirements, Good Manufacturing Practices, and housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with operations and other maintenance team members to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Escalate equipment issues and risks to the Maintenance Team Leader as appropriate.

Ingredients Required For Your Success

• High school diploma or GED.
• Maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems with experience troubleshooting production equipment.
• Experience reading and interpreting technical manuals, drawings, and work orders.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work scheduled shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Being on your feet, walking around the facility, climbing stairs/ladders or kneeling for extended periods of time.
• Performing consistent repetitive tasks.
• Frequently lifting, pushing or carrying materials.
