The Customer Service Representative role at Cerro Fabricated Products carries out all the functions related to dealing with the customers professionally and efficiently with updates on the status of their orders and shipping information whenever necessary. They enter new customer orders into the CFP database and provide status updates to the customers after receiving acknowledgement dates from production control and production management. They enter new orders into the CFP database systems and provide status updates to the customers as requested. In short, the Customer service clerk must have the ability to work diligently to help maintain smooth customer service operations. The ideal candidate will also be familiar with office equipment and procedures and be reliable and hardworking with great communication skills.

Essential Functions:

• Accurate and timely follow up with customers on new or existing orders.
• Maintains orders and ship dates in the CFP database.
• Must be able to communication with customers on the phone and email acknowledging ship dates for orders. 
• Works with sales account managers, production managers, and shipping to ensure timely shipments.
• Utilize office appliances such as photocopier, printers etc. and computers for word processing, spreadsheet creation etc.
• Ability to prioritize work and time management skills.
• Paying attention to detail and accuracy.
• Customer service oriented.
• Performs all other related duties as assigned.
• Works well under pressure.
• Able to handle to conflicting priorities.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a clerical position.
• Familiarity with office procedures.
• Working knowledge of office devices and processes.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Very good organization and multi-tasking abilities.
• High school diploma.
