• Shift: 6am-6pm in-facility, on-call 6pm-6am, 24 hours/day
• Hours/Week: Based on scheduled shifts
• Employment Type: Per diem/contract
• License/Certifications: Michigan RN Licensure, Certification in Neonatology preferred or eligible, NRP Certified, experience in intubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, paracentesis, spinal taps, thermal cooling, ventilator management including oscillators and iNO
• Experience: Prior NICU experience preferred

What You'll Do

• Provide advanced neonatal care in a Level III NICU without surgical subspecialties
• Manage cases such as RDS, pulmonary hypertension, pneumothorax, sepsis, seizures, and stabilizing surgical cases for transport
• Support ventilator management, including oscillators and inhaled nitric oxide (iNO) therapy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including RN, RT, and consulting specialists
• Follow established protocols for clinical interventions and patient safety
• Support stabilization and transport of neonatal patients to higher-level care as needed

What You Need

Required:

• Michigan Registered Nurse license or eligibility
• Certification in Neonatology (preferred but not mandatory)
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience with neonatal airway management, lines, and ventilation
• Strong team collaboration skills

Preferred:

• Prior NICU experience in a level III environment
• Ability to perform neonatal intubation, chest tube placement, and other advanced procedures
