Account Coordinator

We have an immediate opening for an Account Coordinator in our Los Angeles, CA office. The position involves working with several of our key destination accounts on their integrated sales and marketing plans. We are seeking professional candidates with 1 – 2 years of sales, marketing or public relations experience to contribute to key tourist board accounts, supporting and implementing programs in the areas of travel trade engagement, marketing, special events and public relations. Primary Duties Support team members with administrative aspects of a key tourist board account including preparation of comprehensive market intelligence reports, project briefs, budgets, etc. Plan and manage events and special projects. Support the planning and delivery of entertaining and informative webinars, sales calls (virtual and in person) and training programs with travel distribution partners. Develop industry relations with tour operators, consortium, travel advisors, wholesalers, airlines and client stakeholders, including networking and event representation. Support the planning and delivery of trade educational initiatives including itinerary development, participant recruitment and hosting in destination. Maintain travel trade and media databases including consumer and trade press. Support the planning and delivery of events and trade show activities including onsite participation. Adhere to and contribute to the development of project workflow and timelines. Coordinate internal and external meetings, including attendee invitations, agendas, location reservations, AV, taking and distribution of meeting notes and other miscellaneous logistics. Develop activity reporting with a strong focus on conversion metrics. Required Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 1 – 2 years of experience in the fields of sales support, training, marketing, public relations or event management (preferably in the tourism industry). Excellent time management skills with ability to develop and adhere to independent deadlines. Event planning and budgeting. Ability to multi‑task and handle several projects at one time on tight deadlines. Highly organized and willing to manage numerous administrative functions. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace. Ability to travel both domestically and internationally. Preferred Skills Knowledge of tourism destination sales and marketing either via education or job experience. Education Requirements 4‑year degree in marketing, tourism, communications or public relations.
