Assistant Project Manager – Water / Wastewater Construction (Virginia & Southeast Projects) Location: Virginia (Travel to Project Sites Required) Position Type: Full-Time We’re looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join a fast-growing water and wastewater contractor delivering complex infrastructure projects across Virginia and the Southeast. The company currently has approximately 25–28 active projects , with a strong focus on packaged wastewater treatment plants supporting remote data center developments . These are fast-moving, technically challenging projects that require strong coordination between design, field execution, procurement, and commissioning teams. This is a great opportunity for someone with 3–5 years of construction experience who wants real exposure to multiple active projects and a clear, structured path into long‑term project leadership roles. Systems & Tools HCSS is used where required by owners for heavy civil tracking, estimating, and field management Procore is used extensively for project management, documentation, and collaboration What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related field preferred 3–5 years of experience in construction (project engineering, field operations, or assistant PM roles) Experience in water/wastewater, industrial, heavy civil, or infrastructure projects strongly preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active priorities Good communication skills and comfort working across field and office teams Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite This is a team that invests heavily in keeping people engaged and developing long‑term careers, not just filling roles.
