As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support access control operations. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM Thur 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random patrols of office areas, entry points, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and policy violations. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Help support the protection of technology assets, facilities, and confidential business operations by reporting suspicious activity and following established security-related protocols. Minimum Requirements: CPR Certification is preferred. Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
