Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 9, 10, and 12-hour shifts available via waterfall schedule | On-call rotation applies on weekdays after 9:30 PM and weekends 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care to patients in a 19-bed Main PACU and 4-bed Atrium PACU setting
• Maintain patient ratios of 2:1 standard, 1:1 for unstable ICU patients, and 1:1 for pediatric patients
• Operate and monitor ventilators, Philips and GE monitors, and Sigma Spectrum pumps
• Perform arterial line blood draws, set up PCA pumps, and manage drip titration
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation as scheduled

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Virginia
• Minimum 2 years of PACU or ICU experience with a strong neurology/neuro background
• Ventilator competency required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior ICU or PACU travel experience
• Experience with drip titration
• Neurosurgery background
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
