Outside The Wire Logistics LLC is accepting qualified owner-operators for independent-contractor opportunities across multiple equipment types. We are a Purple Heart veteran-owned, SDVOSB-certified carrier focused on safe operations, professional communication, accurate documentation, and dependable service.

ACCEPTED EQUIPMENT TYPES

• Cargo vans and sprinter vans

• 26-foot box trucks

• Hotshot, flatbed, gooseneck, and straight-deck combinations

• CDL tractor-trailers

• Other commercially suitable equipment may be considered after review

OWNER-OPERATOR COMPENSATION — 80% REVENUE SHARE

Eligible owner-operators receive 80% of qualifying gross revenue associated with completed, delivered, invoice-ready loads, subject to the signed owner-operator agreement.

Examples:

• $4,000 qualifying gross = $3,200 contractor share

• $5,000 qualifying gross = $4,000 contractor share

• $6,000 qualifying gross = $4,800 contractor share

• $7,000 qualifying gross = $5,600 contractor share

• $8,000 qualifying gross = $6,400 contractor share

• $10,000 qualifying gross = $8,000 contractor share

WHAT IS QUALIFYING GROSS REVENUE?

Revenue generally qualifies when the load is completed and delivered; all required POD, BOL, rate confirmation, and other paperwork is complete and accepted; and the load is ready for invoicing. Approved and billable accessorial charges may be included. Incomplete, disputed, or non-invoiceable loads may roll into the settlement week in which they become eligible. Claims, shortages, damages, chargebacks, and any authorized deductions or pass-through expenses are handled according to the signed owner-operator agreement.

WEEKLY SETTLEMENT SCHEDULE

• Revenue week: Monday through Sunday

• Paperwork deadline: Monday at 12:00 p.m. Central

• Contractor statement: Wednesday

• ACH initiated: Thursday

• Funds normally available: Friday

• Bank holidays may affect deposit timing

OWNER-OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide and safely operate reliable, commercially suitable equipment.

• Maintain required registration, inspections, licenses, permits, plates, and commercial insurance.

• Pay fuel, maintenance, repairs, and other operating expenses associated with the contractor's equipment unless the signed agreement states otherwise.

• Carry appropriate cargo-securement and safety equipment for the vehicle and freight type.

• Follow applicable DOT, FMCSA, hours-of-service, cargo-securement, weight, dimension, and customer requirements.

• Communicate professionally with dispatch, brokers, shippers, and receivers.

• Submit accurate pickup, delivery, and accessorial documentation by the deadline.

• Keep equipment clean, safe, and available for inspection when requested.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Commercial driving experience appropriate for the proposed vehicle and freight.

• Valid driver's license; CDL and endorsements when the equipment or operation legally requires them.

• Current DOT medical certification when required.

• Acceptable driving record and ability to satisfy applicable background, MVR, drug-screening, insurance, and customer requirements.

• Current commercial insurance meeting company, broker, shipper, and customer requirements.

• Reliable smartphone and email access for dispatch communication and documents.

• Strong time-management, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.

AVAILABILITY AND FREIGHT

Owner-operators communicate when they are available, the lanes or service areas they prefer, and their expected return after periods of unavailability. Contractors may accept or decline offered loads subject to the signed agreement. Available freight may include local, regional, dedicated, expedited, or over-the-road opportunities depending on customer demand and equipment fit.
