Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.

- Operate MRI equipment to capture high-quality images according to physician specifications.

- Position patients correctly to obtain optimal imaging results.

- Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their well-being and address any concerns.

- Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.

- Review images for quality and clarity, and assist radiologists in interpreting results.

- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards at all times.

- Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Certification or licensure as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).

- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical setting.

- Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and imaging techniques.

- Excellent patient care and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.

- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.

- Physical ability to position patients and handle equipment as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High School diploma or equivalent is required.

· Must be ARRT registered in good standing

· Experience with GE and Siemens magnets preferred

SKILLS/ABILITIES

· Basic Computer skills

· Outstanding patient care skills required

· Knowledge of HIPAA regulation
