Takes and distributes accurate messages. Greets visitors and determines the nature of their visit, issues visitor passes and maintains visitor logs, alerts appropriate party of visitor arrival or directs visitors to appropriate office, department or employee. Responds to routine inquiries from internal or external sources such as the organization's location, hours of operation, phone numbers, and/or email address. Additional responsibilities may include miscellaneous administrative activities such as booking meeting rooms, typing, organizing and distributing mail, receiving and sending courier packages. Decisions are limited to defined parameters around work expectations, quality standards, priorities and timing, and works under close supervision and/or within established policies/practices and guidelines with minimal opportunity for deviation.Use Your Skills To Make An ImpactAdditional InformationRequired QualificationsExperience in a fast pace/high volume environmentMinimum of 1-year professional experience as a Medical Receptionist in 'front-office' direct patient care contactExperience with MS OutlookBasic Computer knowledgeMust be a team player with excellent communication skillsWillingness to learn and be cross trained in other roles based on business needPreferred QualificationsExperience with HEDISExperience with Electronic Medical RecordsPrevious experience in a geriatric settingMedical Receptionist Working hours:Scheduled 40 hours per weekMonday to Friday 8AM-5PMLocal travel may be required; Mileage is reimbursedThis role is considered patient facing and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.$38,000 - $45,800 per yearThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
