Contract Graphic Designer

Overview

• Contract position
• ~50-60 hours per issue (10 issues/year)
• Must be proficient in Adobe InDesign
• Experience in Photoshop desired
• Experience in print design preferred but not required

Duties

• Develop and design high-quality graphics for VIP Magazine and digital platforms, including social media, websites, and other marketing materials.
• Utilize templates and InDesign to design magazine layout and produce print ready files.
• Utilize Adobe Photoshop to enhance images as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to brainstorm and execute design concepts that elevate the brand.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, incorporating innovative techniques into your work.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in graphic design software Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in creating print media highly desired.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• A portfolio showcasing previous graphic design work is required for consideration.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1,250.00 - $1,500.00 per month

Expected hours: 50 – 60 per month, heavier at month end

Schedule: Flexible within daytime hours 8a-5p // full daytime hours required the last week of the month finalizing each issue for print

Work Location: Remote in Bowling Green, KY 42103
