Cath Lab RN 3/12s Day Shift 3-12hr. shifts 0600-1830 + call with a 30 minute call-back requirement. STEMI CALL REQUIRED. Facility requires references - please send with submission. 2 years minimum experience. No 1st time travelers. Must be proficient in EPIC. Unit details include:

• Patient Population: Adult Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory that performs invasive diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular and structural heart procedures
• Call Required: Every 4th weekend and 1 or 2 days during the week
• Charting: Epic-Cupid for log documentation, GE Mac Lab for Hemodynamics (in Cath Lab), Phlips Xper for Hemodynamics (in Hybrid OR)
• Special Procedures: Left Heart Catheterization, Right Heart Catheterization, Coronary Angiography, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PTCA, STENTING, Atherectomy, Thrombectomy), IABP Insertion, Impella Insertion, Transvenous Pacemaker Insertion, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Transcatheter Mitral Valve Repair (TMVR), Peripheral Angiography, Peripheral Intervention, Pericardiocentesis, Atrial Septal Defect Closure/Patent Foramen Ovale Closure

Travel Requirements:

• Travel Experience Required: Yes
• Mile Radius Rule: Perm address must be 50 miles from the facility
• Reference Required: 1 reference required
• Local Rules: No local travelers are allowed; travelers permeant address must be over 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates may float within hospital: Yes
• Background Policy: Background Checks: DUIs are generally allowed as long as there is not a pattern of them
• Return Staff Rules: Former Eisenhower Medical Center employees must have been gone for 2 or more years to be able to return as a traveler
• Scheduling Requests: Candidate should be flexible with scheduling, and any out of norm requests should be submitted with profile
• Extensions: Only one extension is allowed and then the traveler must take the length of the original contract and extension combined off before being able to return to EMC as a traveler again
• Inpatient call of/on call policy: Travelers may be called off OR placed on call once per pay period. If placed on call there is a 60 minute call back requirement
• Modules: Modules are billable, any modules assigned and completed during traveler's contracts are not billable
