Nocturnist Physician
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Regular 12 Pay Rate: $184.30 - $199.50

This facility is seeking a Nocturnist Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

 

Details and requirements for this opportunity: 

• Schedule: 7 on 7 off, Sunday through Saturday 7:30pm – 7:30am
• Total census per provider per shift: 12-15
• Procedures required: Lumbar punctures, paracentesis, thoracentesis, joint aspirations, and central line placements
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Resource and Patient Management System (RPMS)
• Support: The hospital consists of 75 physicians and 24 mid-level providers.
• Certifications and license required: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days

Situated on the Navajo reservation in San Juan County, Shiprock is named after a nearby rock formation that is a must-see. The Shiprock is a revered rock formation that plays a significant role in the Navajo religion. Residents of Shiprock enjoy small-town life with a low cost of living and low crime. The city has plenty of outdoor options, including hiking and camping in the nearby plains.
