OTR Flatbed Company driver (W-2) Job in Hockessin, DE by HMD Trucking

Requirements
  • 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
  • 6 months of flatbed experience
  • No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
  • No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
  • No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
  • Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying

Benefits

  • CPM $0.70 base + $0.10 CPM safety/productivity bonus
  • Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

  • Extra Stops: $50 per additional stop
  • Detention Pay: $25 per hour after the first 2 hours
  • Layover Pay: $175 for every 24 hours
  • Orientation Pay: $150

Vacancy description

Join our Hockessin hub and run OTR flatbed routes across the U.S., backed by cutting-edge trucks and full-service maintenance.

Key Duties:

  • Operate modern sleeper units with APUs and inverter systems
  • Safely load, tarp, and deliver flatbed freight
  • Maintain logs and adhere to all DOT regulations

Benefits & Compensation:

  • Base rate of $0.70/mile plus $0.10/mile safety/productivity bonus
  • $5,000 sign-on bonus and regular home time
  • Full healthcare package, PTO, and 401(k)

Applicants need a valid Class A CDL and 12+ months flatbed experience.
