Nexus Recovery – Chelmsford, MA · Full-time · Some evening and weekend coverage

Nexus Recovery is a substance use disorder treatment program in Chelmsford, Massachusetts, licensed by the Massachusetts Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS). We provide Acute Treatment Services (ATS/detox) and Clinical Stabilization Services (CSS), 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Most of the people who come through our doors are covered by MassHealth, and too often that has meant being told there is no bed, no time, or no one available. We are building a top-tier clinical program for exactly those people — the kind of care you would want for your own family, offered to the people who usually get the least of it. What you will do

• Run individual and group counseling sessions.

• Complete assessments and build treatment plans with patients, not for them.

• Coordinate with nursing and medical staff on co-occurring mental health and medical needs.

• Plan discharges that actually hold — next level of care, medication continuity, and real supports.

• Document accurately and on time.

• Bring your patients’ picture to the treatment team.

What you need

• LADC I, LADC II, LADC Assistant, LMHC, LICSW/LCSW, or a master’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field with substance use disorder certification.

• Group facilitation experience.

• Familiarity with ASAM criteria and co-occurring treatment.

• Comfort working with patients on any FDA-approved medication for addiction treatment.

• Solid documentation habits and comfort in an electronic health record.
