Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Information Systems Specialist for a direct hire opportunity in Guaynabo, PR within the banking and consumer lending industry. This role supports a financial services environment with a fintech focus, helping ensure the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical systems that support high-volume transactional operations. The Information Systems Specialist will work closely with IT leadership and serve as a senior technical resource for infrastructure administration, systems optimization, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced IT professional who enjoys hands-on technical work, operational ownership, and contributing to a reliable, secure technology environment. Key Responsibilities - Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft Windows Server environments to ensure performance, reliability, patching, and availability. - Manage VMware virtualized infrastructure, including monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning, and operational support. - Support LAN/WAN network infrastructure to maintain secure, stable, and efficient connectivity across the environment. - Administer Microsoft SQL Server databases, including backup, recovery, maintenance, and performance optimization. - Monitor system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and lead the resolution of critical incidents in a mission-critical environment. - Implement security controls, maintain technical documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with operational and regulatory expectations. Compensation and Benefits - Salary range: $68,000 to $70,000 per year. - Job type: Direct hire. - Location: Guaynabo, PR.
