Whether it's residential support, respite care, peer support, or employment assistance, our team shows up with compassion, patience, and the drive to make a real difference.Job Title: Direct Support ProfessionalDuties & Responsibilities: As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be a crucial part of our mission by delivering personalized, compassionate care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and other special needs. Your role will include:Providing direct care: Assist individuals with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication administration.De-escalation Management: Implement strategies that foster positive behaviors and reduce challenging ones, helping individuals thrive in a safe environment.Empowering Participation: Support individuals in engaging in social and recreational activities that enhance their quality of life.Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans tailored to each person's needs.Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and goals to ensure individuals receive the best care possible.Qualifications: To thrive in this role, you'll need a passion for helping others and a dedication to making a difference.
